Add a GA4 Property to Your Google Analytics Account

Let’s walk through setting up a new Google Analytics for a property. 

From the home dashboard, click the “Admin” icon in the lower left corner. 

In the property column, click the blue “Create property” button. This takes you to the property setup page.

Fill out the “Property name” text box. Click the blue “Next” button. 

Now you’ll see a drop-down box followed by a series of check boxes. Select your industry from the industry category drop-down. Then, select your business size and how you plan to use Google Analytics.

When you’re finished, click the blue “Create” button. 

Your property is now created. Next, you want to set up a data stream to start tracking valuable metrics.
